Subaru has announced that they will be
making a hybrid for 2012. But they didn't said which model. My
vote.... the Outback! The type of person who is interested in
an Outback is thinking about safety, practicality, superior
all wheel drive, reliability and a comfortable seating
arrangement. This person usually is a little bit older and has
enough disposable income to get what they want. If regular
Outbacks sell for about $20,000 - to $30,ooo for a loaded one,
a $32-33,000 hybrid Outback, moderately equipped, would
probably be acceptable to a Subaru buyer.

A hybrid made
by Subaru is on the way; the Outback would be a good choice.
Subaru said they would be using their
alliance with Toyota. Toyota owns over 15% of Subaru stock,
and some Toyotas are made in Subaru's Indiana plant. So it
seems to be an amicable arrangement.
Subaru lovers, a hybrid is on the way!
