Acura showed a concept hybrid
SUV at the 2002 Detroit Auto Show, designated the RD-X. It's based on a Honda
CR-V platform.

The SUV has a 2.4-liter i-VTEC four, producing 200 HP. That's augmented by the Honda's Integrated Motor
Assist hybrid system in the rear. The combination produces about 250 HP.
Additional details about the
RD-X will be announced at the 2005 North American International Auto Show in
Detroit.
