The "other" candidates in the Presidential election

Barack Obama has something new to be worried about. Many of the women, and environmentalists, that supported him in 2008, might just vote for another candidate.

Jill Stein is a medical doctor by training, having graduated from Harvard Medical School in 1979. She has testified many times as an expert on environmental health. Her areas of expertise include mercury and dioxin contamination. Her husband is also a physician, and she has two sons.

Dr. Stein received the nomination of the Green Party in July, 2012. Her running mate is Cheri Honkola, an anti-poverty advocated. She was chosen as the Vice Presidential running mate over 200 other candidates submitted by Green Party supporters.
