Tysons Corner Center Shopping Mall

Resources for the Washington DC area

Tysons Corner Center is one of the largest malls in the US. It's got a large new addition. Anchors include Macy's (formerly Hecht's, Bloomies, Nordstrom and Lord and Taylor.

There's a large new Barnes and Noble bookstore, which has hours later than the mall. A great place to grab a snack at their cafe and check out some good books when most everything else is closed.

There's lots of parking, and plenty of covered parking. Only at Christmas time is the mall likely to run out of parking.

Healthy eating? Check out Neisha Thai; you have to walk outside the mall to get there. There you can get a health vegetarian meal like stir fried veggies. Or yummy veggie soup at

There's some unique stores at Tysons. The Apple store is so popular they are often jammed packed. Best to call ahead and find a good time to go when you won't have to wait.
