Honda
has redesigned the
Civic Hybrid for 2012. It's restyled, and it has an improved hybrid
battery pack. It uses lithium ion chemistry, while most other hybrids usa a nickel
metal hydride design. The engine is a larger dispacement (1.5 liter)
version. The new model gets improved mileage over the 2011 model. Tho'
it's called a 2012, it's available now.
Reminder, be compassionate, get
the non-leather version!
One advantage of the new hybrid
battery is that it is smaller, for a given capacity, compared to last
years battery. This helps keep a relatively large truck area, but
doesn't allow for a fold down rear seat. (image courtesy Honda)
